“I'm Razieh Shams originally Persian.

I studied French literature at the University when I was 18. Then I decided to become a pilot with unknown future due to restrictions applied on my country at that time.

I got hired by Aseman airlines as a first female pilot in 2004 as a ATR72 First Officer then upgraded on Fokker 100.

In 2014, I became a first female captain Fokker 100 in the history of Iran.”
